We are currently offering Zoom Conferencing webinars and are running an 8 module series on Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) and
a 9 module series on Structural Integration (SI) and a 4 module series on Manupractic Massage and a 5 module series on
Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage and a 2 module series on Thai Yoga Massage.
Each webinar is about 2-3 hours long and is an introduction to the actual 2 day in-person certification level training in NMT and SI and
Manupractic Masage and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage and Thai Yoga Massage.
You do not need to take the modules in chronological order and you can pick and choose which modules you would like to take.
Structural Integration Session 7 will not be taught as a zoom class as it is primarily intra-oral work and would be difficult to teach online.
Structural Integration Session 7 will be taught as an in person 2 day course, though.
with the use of a tripod for the webcam or a third person to hold the webcam and I recommend a usb extension cord to allow the webcam to reach around the massage table. You can get these from Bestbuy for about $20 for a 3 meter extension cord. NMT utilizes a hand tool called a tbar for some of its techniques. These can be made of wood, metal or plastic. You should get 2 for these courses, one with a large tip and another with a small tip. You can purchase these from amazon, just type "massage tool tbar" in your search. Each class is limited to 10 participants each to allow for proper supervision of participants. Any overflow in registration will be put into additional scheduled classes. This course is $400 plus $20 gst per module. A certification certificate will be issued upon completion of this course.
The Manupractic Institute is offering certification in Neuromuscular Therapy. Upon completion of each of the 8 modules, the student will received a certification certificate in that particular treatment area, example cervical protocol. Upon completion of all 8 modules, the student will receive a final certificate entitling them to use the title Certified Neuromuscular Therapist, endorsed through the Manupractic Institute. The Neuromuscular Therapy certification program is only open to Massage Therapists, due to the anatomy and therapeutic massage pre-requisites required beforehand by the student.
